About JPLM

John Phelan Light Machinery was first opened for business on 1st September 1998 on Hanna's Avenue, near Blakes Cross, Lusk, Co. Dublin. It occupied a tiny premises in a corner of the yard. From the beginning it was the unshakable conviction of John that customer service, of the type which was previously the norm in Ireland, was sadly missing in most of the competitors. Coupled with a belief that only a quality product would satisfy the customer's need for reliable tools & equipment, the decision was made. Quality would never be sacrificed in favour of cost.

This policy was obviously appreciated by the customers who flocked to Hanna's Ave. from all over North Leinster. The business increased rapidly until it could not be contained in the original building. In june of 2004 we moved to our present home, in a much larger premises at the same address. We now employ six staff and intend to continue with the proven formula of exceptional service to our customers, and stocking only leading brands such as Stihl - Toro - Snapper - Tanaka - Murray - Rover - Hilti - Bosch - Makita - Hitachi - Milwaukee etc. Whether you wish to hire, buy or have repaired any of these leading names you can do so with confidence at JPLM Ltd.
